Dear November is an online lifestyle magazine focusing on food, travel, inspiring lives and Nordic life with daily publications. The magazine will be publishing articles and recipes from around the world, but with some extra content from Nordic countries.
Scandinavian people are supposedly some of the happiest people in the world. That is why we at Dear November want to inspire you with Nordic recipes, Nordic lifestyle and photography.
We Scandinavians like to make the most out of every situation, and that is why we use the word “hygge” a lot. This word is something you will come to know if you continue reading Dear November. It is a word that is difficult to explain because it has many meanings. Directly translated it means cozy/wellbeing, it’s about a feeling and an atmosphere which we will portray in many ways here at Dear November.
Founder of Dear November is Trine Robstad from Norway. She has a background in journalism and photography, with published work in the Norwegian magazines BAKE (bake) and Ren Mat (clean eating/food). She also works as a portrait and wedding photographer, specializing in natural light.
Trine has travelled the world since she was four years old. She has lived in Botswana, South Africa and USA. At the moment she is mostly living in the southernmost city in Norway called Mandal, and some in Løgstør in Denmark.
“I am very excited to finally publish Dear November. I have been working on this project for a while now, and I hope you will come to enjoy its content and feel inspired to cook, read, travel and live adventurous. Feel free to contact me if you would like to submit work, or if you have comments or questions.
