There is nothing like a cup of hot chocolate to comfort yourself when it’s cold outside.
Making hot chocolate with real chocolate is always extra delicious. I usually make hot chocolate with dark chocolate, but this winter I have also tried making it with white chocolate. White hot chocolate is now my favorite! It tastes like milk with honey, but extra sweet.
Dark and white hot chocolate

Ingredients
- Dark hot chocolate:
- 60g dark chocolate
- 400 ml milk
- ¼ tsp vanilla
- White hot chocolate:
- 50g white chocolate
- 400 ml milk
- ½ tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Heat the milk almost to boiling point and then add the pieces of chocolate and the vanilla. Stir until the chocolate has melted. Top with whipped cream. The dark hot chocolate I also topped with flaked chocolate, and the white hot chocolate I topped with cinnamon.
