Granola with dates
 
Ingredients
  • 800 ml oats
  • 300-400 ml nuts and seeds
  • 100 ml shredded coconut
  • 1-2 tsp cinnamon
  • A little cardamom, ginger and vanilla essence
  • 100 ml juice - either apple or orange
  • 70 ml honey
  • 1-2 Tbsp. coconut oil
  • 200 ml dates
  • 2 bananas
Instructions
  1. Heat the juice, honey and coconut oil in a pot until it is melted. Pour it into a blender with dates and bananas. At the end pour in the nuts to chop them a little.
  2. Pour the mixture into the mixed dry ingredients.
  3. Spread the granola out on a lined baking tray. Bake for 1 hour on 150 degrees Celsius. Turn the granola over a few times while it is in the oven.
